TCS offers a range of person-centred programs across British Columbia that help individuals and families build meaningful lives in community. Each program begins with listening. We take time to understand what matters to you, and then shape support around your goals, strengths, and everyday life.
Whether you are looking for connection, stability, independence, or something in between, we will work with you to find a path forward.
Our Programs
Children & Youth
Children and Youth programs at TCS support young people and their families through safe, home-like care in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development. This includes staffed youth homes, respite for children with higher medical needs, and support with daily routines, safety, and emotional wellbeing. As youth grow, TCS helps them build the skills and confidence needed to transition into adult services.
Community Inclusion
Community Inclusion supports people with diverse abilities to participate in their communities in meaningful ways while building independence. Support may be one-to-one, through outreach, or in group settings where people connect with others, volunteer, attend events, and build everyday skills. Each person’s support is shaped around their goals, with a focus on participation, confidence, and daily life skills.
Employment Services
TCS Employment Services supports individuals with diverse abilities to explore work goals, build confidence, and find meaningful paid employment. Support includes developing workplace skills, preparing resumes and interviews, exploring job options, and connecting with employers. As individuals gain independence, support gradually decreases, with ongoing help available as needed.
Home Sharing
Home Sharing supports individuals with diverse abilities to live in a stable, respectful home with a trained provider. Each match is thoughtfully made based on the person’s needs, preferences, and personality, with support for daily routines, meals, life skills, and community connection. The focus is on helping people feel safe, supported, and able to grow.
Supported Living
Supported Living helps individuals live in their own home while receiving regular, scheduled support. People may live independently or with a roommate, with staff visiting to assist with daily routines, household tasks, budgeting, appointments, and life skills. The focus is on maintaining independence while ensuring reliable support is in place.
Staffed Living
Staffed Living provides shared, home-like environments where individuals receive consistent, around-the-clock support. Trained staff are available day and night to assist with daily life, personal care, meals, medication, routines, health, and community involvement. The focus is on safety, stability, consistency, and quality of life.
